Meet Our Leads
Andy & Amy Tung
Andy and Amy Tung became followers of Christ during their time at UC Berkeley while they were in college. Since then, they have dedicated themselves to full-time ministry, serving in various church plants. They are now leading the Santa Cruz ministry.
Ryan & Ashton Theimer
Ryan grew up in Nigeria as a missionary kid and went to church, but it made little difference in his life. Then, during his first year of college in Berkeley, he found our church. After seeking for about a year, he decided to give his life to Jesus.
Ashton grew up in San Francisco with her parents and two sisters. She went to a Catholic school, but she wanted to leave her faith behind and have fun in college. She did have fun, but more importantly, during her freshman year, she found our church and had mentors who loved and cared for her. Eventually, in her junior year, she decided to follow Jesus too.
Serving Jesus and joining Him on His mission to save other lost people has been one of the greatest joys and privileges to Ryan and Ashton. In their free time, Ryan likes reading, basketball, fishing, and playing board games. Ashton enjoys cooking, spending time with her children, playing sports, and going for walks near the ocean. Together they oversee our Santa Cruz college ministry.
Lenin & Chloe Yang
Lenin grew up in Honduras and came to San Francisco where he found our church and made his salvation decision while in college.
Chloe grew up in Hong Kong without any religious background. However, after entering college, she discovered our church and experienced God's word resonating with her. It provided answers to life's questions and gave her a sense of purpose, leading her to faith.
Since graduating, they have been serving in college and youth ministry in the Bay Area and Santa Cruz. They are now excited to start our youth ministry in Santa Cruz! In their free time, they enjoy spending quality time with their two kids, experimenting with new recipes, photography, and good coffee.
